So, I finally got around to riding some singletrack today. Many of the trails around here are fire roads, but there is singletrack. It’s amazing at how out of practice you get. I rode some trails called the Missing Link/Fence Line that parallel part of my normal El Moro loop. They are only about 1 mile long, but lots of fun. It took a few runs for me to feel comfortable, but soon realized it’s no different than anything at Kettle Moraine. However, Kettle Moraine doesn’t have 1000 foot climbs…
